The photographic triptych ‘You Leaving (Tercet)’ documents the week my partner moved out of my home. They were the person I’d fallen in love with at a time I didn’t think I would ever love again after losing my husband, so it was a significant relationship and its breakdown difficult. The three images are entitled ‘Safe Space –Studio evening’, ‘In case of emergency’, and ‘Safe Space -Studio day’. After he left, I was at a loss for what to do, so I retreated to my safe space – my studio – and picked up my camera.
